FISHING REPORT: 5/4/21 The Ground fish/Deep Sea fishing out of Gloucester MA has been fair to good. It should pick up any day soon. The striped bass usually start coming the end of May. Tuna starts the first of June but doesn't really get going until July or so. My weekends are filling up quickly. So book soon to get a spot!

Built like torpedoes, they can reach 10 feet in length and 1,000 pounds Most adults are around 200 pounds. Our average tuna charter trip is 9 hours.

Our new boat, the Lady D, is a 35' T Jason with a 440hp Yanmar diesel engine that travels up to 20 knots for an exciting ride out to see the gentle giants. We like to leave early and get out to the whales before the whale watch boats get there. 7am or earlier is the best time for whale activity. This vessel has a stand up bathroom.
Striped Bass

We are striped bass specialists! This is one of our most popular trips! Bass migrate to Massachusetts coastal waters and waters off Cape Ann around the first of May and stay through October. Bass catches range from 3 to 25 pounds, with fish taken in the 40 to 50 lb. New recreational fishing rules have been adopted in Massachusetts to increase the conservation of Atlantic striped bass.

They are prized among sport fishing for their fight and speed, shooting through the water with their powerful tails up to 43 miles per hour, pulling the fishing line away 200 yards from the boat.
