2004 Jari moved to the USA and started studying all aspects of golf. Golf had become "his life". After learning from some of the best golf teachers in the world (e.g. Bob Toski, John Mason, Myron Klement and Jim Perez) he was confident that he has something to give to his fellow golfers. Passion for teaching, being very detail orientated and (good or bad) being able to see everything are his strenghts he offers as a golf teaching professional.

BirdieFinish Custom Club Studio specializes only in premier custom club components. We are the only professional club making shop in Oregon which carries PXG, Miura, EPON, KZG and Tom Wishon custom golf clubs. In addtion to these fine brands we also custom make Bridgestone and Ben Hogan golf clubs, and Piretti putters.

Golf professional and coach, Jari Hakonen has experience working with every type of golfer. All the way from the beginners to the LPGA Tour players. Jari specializes in golf coaching. He offers a range of lesson packages to suit your needs. Single lessons are not offered at BirdieFinish Golf. Jari focuses on the fundamentals and better ball striking as well as making the whole process of learning friendly and fun.
Repairs

Many golf courses and box stores offer club repairs and grips and shafts. Make sure your clubs are repaired and gripped by a Master clubmaking professional. Only a clubmaking professional can change your grips which will fit your hand size, change a shaft which fits your swing and change them so that they are aligned perfectly.
Fitting

A good fitting is a conversation, not a sales pitch. Too often when you go for a fitting, even at a well-known "fitting center", they already know what they are going to offer you. And their selection of the heads, shafts and grips is not big, so you end up buying and getting fitted with what is convenient for the fitter.
