Brevard Academy for Individual Excellence has served students with diverse backgrounds and talents in the Melbourne and surrounding areas for over ten years. We put an emphasis on art and music as well as technology education. We are a non-denominational, Biblically-based school that strives to impact the lives of our students with the life-changing truths of God.
We use a unique approach allowing same-age students to work at different paces on an individual level. Our 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio allows the curriculum of each student to be tailored to meet his or her academic goals. Brevard Academy will educate diverse learners through rigorous individual expectations by equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to reach their potential academically, socially, and spiritually. Brevard Academy will empower students to embrace excellence in every area in order to be a productive leader and learner in life inside and outside of the classroom.
Our School
Report
To facilitate placement, children are given reading and math assessments. This allows students to be grouped based on skill level. Students with exceptional talents will be placed into skill levels corresponding to assessment scores, regardless of age or grade. Students are grouped by grade level for history and science.
Tuition
Report
Brevard Academy accepts the following scholarships: Step-Up for Students, McKay, Family Empowerment, HOPE, AAA, and Gardiner. These scholarships are available to students based on family income and size, services list on an IEP, specific schooling type, a specific medical diagnosis, or who has been bullied at a public school.
