Questions
What dance styles do you teach?
We offer instruction in ballroom, Latin, swing, and social dance styles including waltz, tango, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba, and salsa.
Do I need a partner to take lessons?
No partner is required for any of our programs. We provide instructor partners for practice during lessons and showcase performances.
What should I wear to dance classes?
Comfortable clothing that allows movement. For footwear, we recommend smooth-soled shoes that stay securely on your feet during rotation.
Are there age requirements for classes?
We offer programs for all ages starting from 6 years old. Our instructors adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and physical abilities.
Can I rent the studio space for events?
Yes, our facility offers rental options for dance events, private parties, and special occasions with two specialized dance floors and professional sound systems.
Do you offer trial lessons for new students?
We provide free orientation lessons for new students to experience our teaching approach and facility before committing to regular classes.

We took classes with Inga in preparation for our wedding. We had very little experience with dancing prior to our classes. Inga made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun! We look forward to returning for more lessons!

I'm a dancer on the UNC Ballroom Dance Team who started taking lessons with Inga at Elite in the Fall of 2018. Inga offers the highest level of instruction I've been able to find in the area and I attribute almost all of my growth as a ballroom dancer to her weekly lessons! Classes are intense and technique focused, but very rewarding! I also started taking group lessons with the standard instructor Liviu, who does a fantastic job of improving the technique of everyone in lessons, no matter the skill level. Great instructors and awesome community. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome, even as a newcomer and an amateur. I also feel myself making significant improvement each lesson. I was surprised to see an average rating under 4 stars, but it looks like every negative review came from one group of dissatisfied customers. It's certainly possible the group was mistreated, but it would be very inconsistent with the behavior I've experienced from Inge and Robertas (the owners) and the other instructors over the last few months.

Elite ballroom is a wonderful place to take dance lessons. My husband and I have found Inga to be an incredible instructor. The knowledge of the dance instructors here is top notch. We tried out two other studios before settling on this one, and Inga is the reason. I highly recommend this studio.

Robertas and Inga are hands down the best dance training you will find in the Triangle and beyond. Their championship dance background combines with their years of teaching experience to produce a highly dedicated and talented group of students. Elite Ballroom fosters friendships among its dancers and welcomes new dancers and accomplished competitors alike. The bi-annual showcase is not to be missed!

To say that Robertas and Inga are the best at what they do would be an understatement. To have world class instructors available in our area is a privilege and it is a wonderful opportunity to be able to take lessons with them! I also use their space to teach my own classes and have always been treated fairly and respectfully.
