What We Do

Acupuncture uses hair-thin, disposable, stainless steel needles on points located along pathways or channels on the body. During your session, we use a personalized combination of acupoints to address your health issues, helping your body restore itself to a more balanced and optimal state. Herbal medicine is a major component of Chinese Medicine.

During your free phone or telemedicine initial consultation, you will discuss your concerns with your provider. Here we'll go over your medical history, any medications you are currently taking, and most importantly, discuss your goals. We want to make sure our treatment plan is a good fit for you and make sure there is a high probability of success before agreeing to move forward.

Your first visit will last approximately 75-90 minutes. The first part of the visit is dedicated to listening to your health concerns, discussing your health history, and coming up with a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) diagnosis and treatment plan. We ask our patients to eat within 2.5 hours before acupuncture treatments.

Although cosmetic acupuncture specifically focuses on improving the complexion, elasticity, and skin tone, treatments include acupuncture points to help balance your overall constitution. During a facial acupuncture session, the microcirculation created by the needles encourages detoxification of the skin, helping to eliminate redness and reduce inflammation.
