Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation
Idaho has more than 10,000 species of plants, fish and wildlife. Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation was created to help ensure these wild plants and animals survive. Our mission is to partner with Idaho Fish and Game to sustain Idaho's fishing, hunting, and wildlife heritage, and improve habitat restoration, public access, conservation, education and to complement the use of sportsmen's dollars.

Our grants program provides funding on a competitive basis to the Idaho Department of Fish & Game and other tax-exempt organizations for activities that help us meet our mission. Projects that apply management principles to protect or enhance fish and wildlife resources. Our application cycle may change from year to year.
Wildlife Mitigation

The Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation works with Idaho Fish and Game and other non-government organizations and state agencies to hold and manage funds for conservation projects throughout Idaho. One of these projects is near Harris Ranch adjacent to the Boise River Wildlife Management Area (BRWMA).

As a statewide champion for wildlife, we provide resources to Idaho Fish and Game (IDFG) so they can help wildlife thrive. We partner with IDFG experts, administrators and scientists - professionals in the field who are creating real change. We direct funds as requested by our donors, and donations directly benefit wildlife and their quality of life in Idaho.
Idaho Fish & Game New Headquarters

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) and Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation (IFWF) are partnering to rebuild a new headquarters at 600 S. Walnut St. Boise. The new headquarters replaces the previous building which had reached the end of its functional life and no longer provided the necessary space or technologies needed to properly serve Idahoans.
