Ballet

Hip Hop

Owner
Stephanie began dancing at age three and has taught for 15+ years. Former competitive cheer captain, she founded Turn Out Dance Academy to realize her dream of creating a faith-based dance community that prioritizes character development alongside technical excellence.
Robert Hughes
Instructor
Robert brings 21 years of Air Force service and criminal justice expertise to his teaching. His self-defense classes combine military discipline with practical techniques, offering valuable safety skills for teens and adults in a structured learning environment.

We offer ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, tumbling, competitive dance, voice lessons, acting lessons, and adult belly dance classes.
Are there classes for beginners?
Yes! We have toddler Tippy Toes classes through adult beginner options. All skill levels receive appropriate technical instruction.
Do you have competitive dance teams?
Yes, our award-winning competitive teams have won multiple awards for choreography, costumes, and performance excellence since 2012.
What is your recital schedule?
Our 2026 recital is scheduled for May 30 at Waynesville Performing Arts Center, with dress rehearsal on May 29.

I am in the elite dance team at turn out dance academy! The teachers here are so wonderful and they help so much. The dancers here are very helpful and really encourage their team mates and many more! You should come to turn out dance academy!!

Turn out dance academy is more than a studio, its a family! Your child grows up here with great influences and will meet so many new friends! The training is incomparable for the price! My daughters technique in dance grew from their training. They are tasteful with their costume and song choices. I highly recommend this dance studio!
