Lutheran High School-Westland

We offer an educational environment that strives to be a place where students and staff have the opportunity to develop their God given gifts to their fullest. That is our definition of excellence in learning and excellence in education. The learning goals in our environment go beyond college acceptance, university scholarship, or even just good grades on a transcript.

Our biggest semi-annual event is the much-loved Craft fair! A large-scale event each Spring and Winter, the Craft Fair brings together over 100 crafters and 3,000 attendees to raise money for Lutheran Westland's music, drama, and sports programs. Over $30,000 is brought in each year through booth fees, door receipts, bake sale and flower proceeds.

Join us for a journey with Bilbo Baggins and 13 of his closest friends as he travels to defeat Smaug, the dragon! Treasure awaits for those who complete the journey which includes trolls, goblins, and the vile creature, Gollum. This free test is an important piece of the puzzle as we work with you to determine the best course options for your child for next year.

Please keep our students, families, and staff in your prayers as we face the challenges of each day. We need your support, we need your prayers! Supporting with a monetary donation allows us flexibility to place resources in the areas that need it most in our community. If desired, you also have the ability to to impact areas of specific interest, such as: Student Aid, Tuition Angels, Scholarships, Teacher Bonuses, or campus campaigns.

Lutheran Westland Boosters have an important role to fill. Through fundraising, volunteer hours and fellowship, they promote positive interest in Lutheran High Westland and strengthen the bond between the school and the home. Our boosters foster and develop a spirit of Christian fellowship among the parents, friends, teachers and students.
