Spruce Creek High School is located in Port Orange, Florida, a town of approximately 56,000 residents in 28 square miles. The school is centrally located in the midst of a family neighborhood, yet is also near an interstate. We serve a predominantly suburban community in Eastern Volusia County.

All students must have an Emergency Card with contacts and phone numbers on file in the clinic. In the event of an emergency, parent contact is made with the information on the emergency card. Emergencies happen more often than you think. Without the emergency card and medical consent on file valuable medical care could be delayed.

No student is permitted to leave the school grounds once they have entered the campus during school hours unless he/she receives permission from an appropriate school official to checkout. Students must have an early dismissal pass with them when leaving campus. Students must enter and exit the campus through authorized entry and exit gates.
Emergency Evacuation Plan

In the event that safety and physical needs of students at Spruce Creek High School cannot be met on campus due to weather, lack of sanitation, water, or a continued threat to the campus, procedures are in place to evacuate to Creekside Middle School or Spruce Creek Elementary School. Spruce Creek High School has a written agreement with these locations to provide temporary shelter.

We offer free breakfast to all students every single day! In addition, the USDA has approved free lunch for ALL students for the entire 20-21 school year! Students/Parents/Guardians may pay for meals in advance with cash or a check payable to the school; or online through www.myschoolbucks.com. Families may create an account to monitor student spending at no charge.
