Father Lopez Catholic High School is a Christ-centered community of learners. In community with each of you, I have chosen Father Lopez Catholic High School as my school home. I am humbled to serve this beautiful community and excited about the future. Since my first experience here as a teacher in 2005, I have treasured belonging to Father Lopez and never ceased following the academic and athletic achievements of our students.

Father Lopez Catholic High School, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation directly affiliated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando, Florida. The corporation is established to carry out the teaching ministry of the Catholic Church. The Bishop of Orlando is the sole Member of the Corporation.

As a Catholic, coeducational high school, Father Lopez follows the strong tradition of the Catholic school system in America. We believe in educating the mind, body and soul of every student. We challenge them to use the gifts with which they have been blessed to the best of their ability. This takes place in the midst of a community that is based on the virtues of Faith, Hope, and Love.
School History

The roots of our Catholic high school go back to 1924. At that time, a Catholic high school was established as part of the St. Paul Parish School in Daytona Beach. As the population grew, the Diocese of St. Augustine built a new, central Catholic high school that opened in 1959. Father Lopez Catholic High School, located between Madison and Mason on the east side of Nova Road, served the area for the next 49 years.
