H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber

H.V. & T.G. Thompson Lumber Co. has been a trusted name in the lumber industry since our founding in 1909. As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in sourcing all our lumber locally within 80 miles of Ailey, Georgia, ensuring the highest quality materials for our customers. Our commitment to excellence is evident in every step of our process, from sawmilling and cutting to drying and finishing, all performed on-site to maintain strict quality control. With over a century of experience, we have evolved to incorporate modern equipment while preserving the old-fashioned attention to detail that has defined our reputation. We specialize in producing premium heart pine and cypress lumber, catering to both local and nationwide clients through direct sales that eliminate middlemen and pass savings to our customers.

Our dedication to innovation is matched by our adherence to traditional values, including transparent business practices and personalized service. We offer free quotes and prioritize customer satisfaction, as evidenced by our numerous positive testimonials from homeowners and builders who have relied on our products for decades. Our kiln-drying process ensures durability and pest resistance, though we maintain clear disclaimers about post-sale environmental factors. Through economic challenges and industry changes, we have remained steadfast in delivering quality lumber and exceptional service, making us a cornerstone of the Ailey community and beyond.
