Our team is comprised of physicians, nurses, admin & more-- what do we all have in common? We love kiddos! Specifically, we love taking care of kids and working together to help keep the littlest members of our community healthy and happy. Dr. Elena Ruiz received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and later received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Medical School at Houston.

Do you have a separate sick and well waiting area? We address this issue by promptly placing patients in examination rooms upon checking in. In doing so, we not only reduce contact between sick and well children but also reduce exposure of sick children to one another. Our experience in the past is that separate waiting areas just do not work.

Bee Caves Pediatrics follows the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics for routine well child immunizations and screening tests. Below is a list of our well child and immunization schedule. We'll do everything we can to help make your child's visit as comfortable as possible. We encourage you to keep a copy of the most current vaccination record for your child/children.
Insurance

Insurance is complicated, but we aim to make the process as simple as possible. Although we accept most plans, we always recommend calling your insurance company to confirm we're in-network. We also encourage patients to verify which lab facilities are contracted with their insurance plan. Feel free to call our practice with any questions!
