We are Boxaroo! We're an immersive adventure company that designs, builds, and operates interactive experiences. We're known for our puzzle and escape room adventures located in downtown Boston. Come try them out! In addition to our puzzle and escape room adventures, we also put on large events in the form of scavenger hunts, ballroom sized escape room games, murder mysteries, and so much more.

You and your friends decide to visit the cabin of Emily Carter, a young writer whose bestseller adventure novels are known all around the world. Bookings for this room are all private. We recommend that all players have experienced one other "escape room" adventure before trying this one. We're really, really thankful you helped us out you don't even work here thank you so much.

Please note that our bookings are by reservation only, and all of our adventures are private bookings. While we do take walk-ups, we're often at capacity (especially on weekends!) Take a look at our bookings page to look at our availability. If you're a large group/corporate group/visitor to Boston and you're looking for a time slot outside our normal booking windows, please contact us!

We're a 30 second walk from the Government Center T Station, or a 5 minute walk from Park Street or State Street stations. We highly recommend public transportation if possible, as driving and parking downtown can sometimes get tricky. Look for a giant teapot steaming above a Starbucks; we're a couple of doors to the right!

Glad you asked! An escape room is a 60-75 minute long adventure filled with puzzles and one overarching story. The goal is to solve all of the puzzles in the space within the allotted amount of time. Failure to do so may result in some kind of dire (and fictional!) If you need some help, we'll be there for you!
