A+ Children's Academy Community School provides an outstanding education for children in the K-5th grades. We are a public, non-profit community school that has small class sizes and is dedicated to helping children learn through the performing arts. We also provide a literacy, math and STEM focused education as other public schools.

What makes A+ Children's Academy unique is that it emphasizes performing arts as an aid to teach all core subjects. The students can utilize both sides of their brain to retain the knowledge through experiential learning. By teaching children how to read music, doors open to their creative side, which will help them grow in their core subjects, including reading and math.
School Campus

A+ Children's Academy is nestled in a beautiful campus with a gazebo, playgrounds, trees and a warm and safe environment where kids can be outside as well as inside.
We use our campus daily and sometimes partner with local arts organizations, such as the Jazz Arts Group and the Columbus Ballet Met, as well as highly-qualified dance and instrumental professionals to give our students a wide spectrum of opportunities to explore many forms of music and movement so that they will gain a great appreciation for all the arts, an even greater appreciation for themselves as they become culturally balanced.

The children eat their breakfast and lunch with the classmates and teachers in a clean and safe environment. They must use their manners and respect those around them. This style of dining is important for children to learn healthy nutrition and social skills. We want to ensure that all children are provided with healthy meals during the school day.

A Community School (often referred to as a Charter School) is both a place and a set of partnerships between the school and other community resources. Its integrated focus on academics, health and social services, youth and community development and community engagement leads to improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities.
