Austin Dogtown Boarding & Daycare

Austin Dogtown was founded in the fall of 2006 and has been operating in the heart of South Austin since May of 2007. Our goal is to create a home-away-from-home environment for people to leave their furry children in when they are busy with work or away on vacation. We are dedicated to providing the best, safest, and most fun pack environment for pups in Austin.

All dogs must have initial evaluation before boarding or daycare. We want to make sure we have a good understanding of what you as a parent want for your furry friend during their stay at Dogtown. We will do our best to tailor each visit to your individual requests (within reason).

For boarding purposes, this evaluation will take place as a full day of daycare- so that we can see your dog interact with the other dogs-and let them get comfortable in our environment and make sure Dogtown is a good fit for them- we always like to make sure that the dogs know that when they are dropped off, they DO get picked up!All vaccinations must be current (Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella every 6 months).

Daycare is an excellent way to give dogs the socialization and exercise to meet their needs. Daycare helps dogs learn appropriate interactions with humans and other dogs. Dogs also gain lots of exercise by playing with other dogs, toys, &/ or staff. This allows dogs to stimulate both mind and body.

VACCINATIONS: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations (bordatella required every 6 months).

Guests of Austin Dogtown spend the day making friends, playing games, fetching toys, out and about with their friends all day. Our staff matches the dogs by size temperament and personality. At Dogtown, it's a dog's world - after all, we believe in letting dogs be dogs!

No! The boarding price is all-inclusive and all boarding pups join the daycare pack each weekday- and participate in similar activities on Saturday & Sunday when we only offer boarding.We are not staffed to do "after-hours" pickups, but can work with you to arrange for mid-day drops/pickups (during the "doggy playtime"), although additional costs will apply.
