After graduating with a degree in commercial photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography in 1988, I moved to Jackson Hole in 1989. My first 30 years of exploring this incredible area have been amazing and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you. The Greater Yellowstone ecosystem continues to fuel my passion for photography and the natural world, offering a new tableau daily.

As each day is unique, so is every trip conducted by Alpenglow Tours. It is your day to enjoy and I will customize the tour to your specific areas of interest. Each trip is private, I don't combine multiple groups into one tour. This keeps the groups small, gives you my undivided attention and you don't have to share your day with others.

Sunrise Grand Teton Tour
Report
The first light of the morning, known as Alpenglow and occurring during the golden hour, is spectacular when it first touches the Tetons. The reddish hues of sunrise offer a nice contrast to the deep blues of the Wyoming skies. The morning hours are also one of the times (the other being dusk) when wildlife are the most active, increasing the opportunities of viewing and photographing them.
Full Day Grand Teton Tour
Report
The Teton Range is a geological wonder. These mountains are some of the youngest in the world, yet comprised of 2.7 billion year old rocks which are among the oldest in North America. The peaks rise approximately 7,000 vertical feet from the valley floor, with no foothills obstructing the view. The parks 310,000 acres offer many diverse locations to marvel at the splendor of the Tetons.
Wildlife Tours
Report
The Greater Yellowstone ecosystem has an abundance of wildlife. We frequently encounter moose, bison, elk and pronghorn antelope. Less often seen, but by no means rare, are black bears, fox, coyotes and bald eagles. Our two most glamorous species, the Grizzly bear and wolves, are observed but can require a bit of luck to find.
