Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation
All of Teton County is bear country! Our individual actions, like investing in bear-resistant garbage containers, can help keep bears wild and people safe. Fall is the worst time for Wildlife-Vehicle Collisions. Please drive defensively this time of year for your safety and that of the wildlife we cherish!

Each year, we organize hundreds of volunteers to remove or modify fences to make them friendlier to wildlife movement. We rely on the voluntary engagement of private landowners and public agencies as we work to reduce migratory barriers and improve landscape permeability for our wild neighbors.

History
Report
Our wildlife-friendly path from then to now began in 1993, when a small group of passionate citizens aimed to create a more wildlife-friendly community by forming the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation. In 2018, we celebrated our 25th anniversary working to reduce human-caused impacts on our wild neighbors, right here in Jackson Hole.

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation has established many productive relationships with partners from both the private and public sector over the past few decades.
