Fatty's building was originally called The Colorado House. In 1894, this building was purchased by the Peabody family, who established a boarding house called the Colorado House, with a mercantile on the ground level and nine sleeping rooms upstairs. It was one of many boarding houses in Breckenridge in the late 1800s.

This last time we bought the mud season dining pass which allows for many specials, including 2 for 1 deals at Fatty's. I had the chicken Parmesan and my husband had the lasagna. They both tasted wonderful and included a salad. It was a great deal, especially with the 2 for 1 special. 4/1/2013 - We stumbled across this restaurant a year or two ago.
