Anne T Carlon, MD

Regular gynecological appointments are very important for women's health. Dr. Anne Carlon is a physician who specializes in gynecology in New York City. She believes in the importance of continuity of care delivered with kindness and respect for women of all ages, from the teen years through post-menopause.

Dr. Anne Carlon graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in human biology and psychology. She developed her interest in women's health and reproductive care while in medical school at Duke University.

Upon completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cornell University/New York Presbyterian Hospital, she decided her major goals were to provide individual and personalized care to women, both for childbearing and general gynecological health.She structured her practice to spend as much time as necessary with each patient in order to understand all aspects of their lives and health issues that may be relevant to their medical care.

Dr. Carlon is not enrolled in any managed care plans. The majority of patients use the out-of-network benefits offered by their insurance companies in order to be reimbursed for all or part of the cost of the visit. Dr. Carlon's staff will submit claims to your insurance carrier on your behalf. Dr. Carlon does not participate in Medicare; however, she will do what is possible to order tests from facilities that accept Medicare.
