We highly recommend APAM. Our daughter has been taking lessons at the APAM since she was five years old. My son also started violin here, and both of them also joined a choir class recently. This school provides the best support for each kid depending on the kid's character, skills and goals. They learn not only the technical part but also how to enjoy music through lessons.
They have several recitals in a year to let kids have a chance to play in public. We were really happy to see our kids playing together at the recitals. Thanks to professional and deep support by teachers, our daughter could win some international or national level competition several times in these three years, and she is going to play New York and Europe next year.

Individual Lessons

Individual lessons are offered to those who want undivided attention to learn and deepen their understanding of music. In this program, students will receive individual instruction about technical skills and appreciation of music on their chosen instrument or in voice using Ms. Anna Poklewski's unique philosophy of teaching.
Group Classes

Group Class for Children is designed to give children as young as four years old an excellent start in their musical life. APAM's focus is first to naturally cultivate a love of music in every child and to foster an understanding of music second.
Testing & Competition Option

The Royal Exam is an international standard of testing that is founded in England by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. As the worldwide standard the ABRSM exam is an excellent reference point for contrasting a student's abilities with those of the international community and can also be useful on a college application should one choose to pursue a degree in music.
Youth Choir

She goes above and beyond to encourage kids to participate and sing well. My kids love the musical pieces Ms. Miyuki selects. They are age/season appropriate and very enjoyable. Thank you for giving kids the choir experience (via online classes/ recitals) during these times! All singers will have fun and be challenged, depending on their music readiness and experiences.
