Dr. Diedrichsen is performing laser assisted cataract surgery with the LenSx system. LenSx is a bladeless, computer controlled laser that is used in several critical steps in cataract surgery including all incisions and removal of the cloudy cataract.
LenSx uses advanced ocular coherence tomography (OCT) imaging along with real-time video imaging to allow Dr. Diedrichsen to customize the surgical plan and treatment steps to each patient's specific needs.This technology creates perfect, interlocking incisions that allows for even more efficient healing.
