This video is a great example of how diverse or community is and how much we celebrate that diversity. The Social Innovators Program allows students to learn about entrepreneurship and experience it first-hand while earning a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship. During the twelve-week program, students learn how to launch ventures of their own that create value and a positive impact on society.

The Board of Trustees are the guardians of Miami Country Day School's mission to educate the whole child and inspire our children to develop their intellectual, physical, aesthetic, social, emotional and spiritual potentials by valuing every student every day.

Miami Country Day School is more than a great place to learn, it's also a great place to work. 58 members of our faculty have served the school for more than 10 years, and 28 members have served for more than 20 years. For the 2019-2020 school year, we have added 7 new faculty positions.
As our school has evolved over the past 81 years, we strive to maintain a minimum faculty to student ratio that creates an environment that maximizes the student experience and balances faculty workload.

We have long understood the value of the saying, "Walk a mile in someone else's shoes, " as a way of understanding the other, showing empathy, and having concern for our fellow humans. Whether it be through travel to distant lands or a one-on-one conversation with a classmate on a bench under a tree, the Office of Global Initiatives, Equity, and Belonging strives to foster cultural understanding and meaningful dialog on topics that affect us all.
