Key Notes School of Music provides lessons to students of all ages in the comfort of their own homes. We hire only professionally-trained musicians who can help you or your child develop a lifelong interest in a musical instrument. Locations include Newton Brookline Dedham Milton Quincy and surrounding towns.

Weekly or bi-weekly (every other week) schedules available. Key Notes does not charge a seasonal or yearly registration fee and there are never any commitments. Instruments are not provided and Key Notes does not offer rentals, however we can refer you to local shops that rent equipment on a monthly basis.

We currently serve the communities of Lexington, Belmont, Arlington, Newton, Wellesley, Brookline, Canton, Milton, Quincy, Braintree and surrounding towns. When you begin musical instruction with Key Notes School of Music, you will be matched with an instructor who holds a Bachelor degree in music (or higher) and is proficient in the instrument and style which you request. Key Notes School of Music maintains both full-time and affiliate instructors, all of whom hold a minimum Master of Music (or similar) from an accredited university.

My name is Nate and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2007 and have loved helping my students grow, excel, and learn to have fun with music. I went to Longy School of Music at Bard College and earned a degree in Modern Brass Performance in 2012. I'm a professional studio trombonist and will push you to your highest level of potential always but love to make it fun along the way.
