We invite children, teens, and adults to start private lessons at any time of year. Individualized attention is an important focus at BMS, beginning with our initial enrollment process. Because we consider a strong student-teacher relationship essential, our Director of Education personally places each student with a thoughtfully chosen teacher.

Piano lessons are open to children and adults of all skill levels. Children 7 and up (sometimes 6) are usually ready for private piano instruction. For younger children (starting at age 4), Brookline Music School offers Music Moves for Piano group classes. Brookline Music School is committed to ensuring that students of all ages and abilities have a positive private lesson experience.
