This place is overpriced unprofessional joke of a business. Went in to buy supplies and parts for tidewater 23 boat. Their service Dept gave me wrong parts. They would not honor my return. Was in the market for new 27 center console next year. Will be buying a key west from Butler Marine in Beaufort.

Jerry Ham really helped me out with getting everything squared away with my two Yamaha outboards and we even found a great deal on another boat the same day! If you're looking for a professional sales and service team Matthews Marine is THE place to go, storage options for long term and short term are the best around. My boat when stored, I know is secure and safe there!! 10/10 would recommend.

They have very poor boat maintenance.
Took boat in for annual service, boat was running fine before service. They returned boat to me twice in a non operative condition. The boat had to be returned to the shop 3 times just to get it running. It ran fine before I took it in. They installed the wrong impeller causing the engine to overheat. Obviously they didnt test the engine after they finished service. They refused to issue a partial refund. The only good thing I can say is that everyone there is helpful and nice. They did work diligently to get the boat running, boat none of that would

We purchased a brand new Tidewater 21lxf, $55000.00. We had it in our possession for approximately 2 hours when we found transom was very wavy and there is a 3 to 4 inch round repair in the hull to left of engine. Since there were other minor quality issues that Mathews Marine was going to repair, we it brought to the salesmans attention (Ed), he said he would have contact Tidewater to have them inspect and fix, 2 weeks later nothing, no calls, no repairs. I spoke with Matthews Marine's hull repair tech, he said it at definitely been repaired. I was told the Tidewater rep was scheduled to be

Stored our beautiful boat and picked it up dirty, full of mildew. Canvas covers were full.of mildew and stained. This is the first time our boat was stored outside and it is a mess. They have us an estimate of over $2500. to get it ready for the season. Then called with more work they wanted to do. We told them no, dont do anything. They still.bolled is over $600. and we are doubtful they did anything at all.
