I always recommend other holistic therapy such as massages as well as chiropractic care with acupuncture. Many people also seek physical therapy to help with pain. I am a firm believer in integrative care and that consists of both eastern and western medicine working together. I usually make dietary recommendations as well to help the body in every way possible!
Acupuncture is the insertion of tiny, hair thin needles into various points of the body to help stimulate the body to heal itself. While most people associate needles with getting shots or blood taken, these needles are so small most people don't even feel them! When the body is out of balance you can experience pain or disease.
Being a mom is never easy, especially being a new mom. You spent 9 months creating a new life and lets be honest, it's exhausting! What they usually don't tell you about pregnancy is that sometimes it can change your face and cause acne. Facial rejuvenation can help with the acne, as well as help with any fine lines and wrinkles.
Acupuncture is great after accidents, pre & post-surgery, sports injuries and for chronic and acute pain conditions. The most common pain condition I see is low back pain/sciatica. When treating pain conditions, I'm still working to balance the body but I'm also working to use the muscles and tendons around the injured area to help relax the muscles and strengthen that area.
Fear is something that is learned, so many children aren't nervous when they come in to get acupuncture. This is a great question because until I started treating children I didn't realize how many children suffer from allergies, skin conditions and digestive problems! Many children just need that little extra healing power of pediatric acupuncture to help their bodies heal themselves and get them feeling better than ever.

Dr. Caitlin Kennedy is the absolute BEST. I was a little skeptical about trying acupuncture. I was finally convinced to go and it was the best decision. I had severe elbow, shoulder and lower back pain. I went to several doctors over the years and nothing worked. I hated constantly taking pain meds so I would try and to just deal with the pain. After several months of struggling to get pregnant, my doctors suggested that I try acupuncture. Caitlin was very sensitive to my situation and knowledgeable with suggestions. Two years ago I was suffering from sciatica pain. I had seen a chiropractor for a few weeks with no relief. I then went to see Dr Caitlin Nespoli. I had never been treated by acupuncture before and did not know what to expect. I must say it was fine, no pain at all relating to the treatment and Dr. Nespoli was great. I could tell she had real… concern and truly wanted to help relieve my pain. Two days after the acupuncture treatment my sciatica pain was almost gone. About a year ago I had very bad pain in my middle lower back so again I went to Dr Nespoli, and again her treatment did help
