We were founded in 1992 and moved to our current location on Airport Way in 1999. Over the years, we have expanded into a multi-doctor office to better serve our patients as well as provide each other continued professional support. Dr. Stoltz graduated with a biology degree from University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1987. He earned his DMD degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1991. In 1992, Dr. Stoltz began practicing in Fairbanks. Dr. Stoltz has also served in the communities of Anderson and Clear as an interim dentist.

We encourage our patients to have routine dental care including exams, cleanings, and x-rays as recommended by our doctors. You shouldn't wait until you have pain or problems to come to the dental office. Prevent the problems before they start with an annual or bi-annual cleaning and exam. Used to prevent the spread of tooth decay or correct any cosmetic damage, a filling is just one of the ways our dentists preserve our health.
New Patients

We make sure all our new patients feel welcome, safe, and taken care of. During your first visit, a dentist will review your dental and medical history. For diagnosis, they will examine your teeth and take X-rays of your mouth. From there, the dentist will explain any issues and help you choose options for treatment.

These folks are awesome! Took me in as a new patient and fixed both my chipped front teeth. Added a cleaning to the appointment so I wouldn’t have to drive back up from Nenana for a second time. The office is clean and happy, the folks from the desk to the dentist chair are all friendly, they explained every step, and answered all my questions before doing any of the procedures. Super happy I chose them for my dental needs!

I had a molar break over the holiday weekend. I left a message with Fairbanks Dental Center, and they called and scheduled an appointment first thing Tues. morning. I was able to be seen same day. On top of that Dr. Weis and Dental Assistant Taylon stayed late, after office hours, to ensure that my crown was made and set that day so I didn't have to come back in another day. This was especially helpful because we are in the middle of a move and in a serious time crunch. Their willingness to go above and beyond for a patient was much appreciated! I cannot recommend Fairbanks Dental Center highly

Fairbanks Dental Center took a scan of my teeth, in order to have a night guard made at the lab.
I can't recall her name now, but the young lady that did the scan, did an excellent job explaining everything throughout the process.
Last week when I had my cleaning done, the hygienist was also very friendly and thorough. Last but not least, Dr Bast my dentist, always excels in friendliness and expertise. Fairbanks Dental has a very professional staff!
