The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends your child see a dentist no later than his/her first birthday. That's because your child's early experiences at the dentist will set their attitude toward dental care for the rest of their life. That's why it's essential for your child to have positive, comfortable dental visits during these impressionable years.
Dr. Dallin Young and our pediatric dental team know the important role we'll play in your child's life, and take that responsibility very seriously. We understand that some children are scared about seeing a dentist. They may have heard frightening stories from friends or through media. Being in a new environment with unfamiliar equipment and sounds can be worrisome, too.

Both my young kids love Young Smiles and the all the staff. They are welcoming and engage with the kids, they explain everything that they are about to do so the kids understand and aren't afraid. My kids get excited when it's time to go to the dentist, that alone says a lot.
I can't say enough good things about this business and it's employees.

They work magic. My 4 year-old arrived for his first visit to the dentist with terror-induced lock-jaw, and later that day was asking when we can go back to the dentist. Dr. Young does a superb job of explaining everything to the parents while putting the patient at ease. The entire staff is really friendly.

I have to thank the dental assistant who did a great job on my daughters teeth. We were finished within 20 minutes. We sat there waiting for the dentist for the next 30+ minutes. I understand that he has other patients but I could hear him talking to the mom of a patient about her daughters treatment plan. When approached by another assistant that we were waiting for quite some time he just brushed her off and said he had to check on something. He spent less than two minutes looking at my daughters teeth said her teeth was great. As we were leaving they asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment

I took my daughter to Young Smiles for her first ever dental check up. My daughter gets a little nervous with new experiences and when we first went in I could tell she was nervous but by the end of the appointment she was smiling and enjoying herself. The dental assistant Sierra was enthusiastic and silly and walked my daughter through everything. Dr Young was knowledgeable and friendly. I was very pleased with our experience.

Brought my three boys (10, 8, and 2) here for their cleaning and was very pleased. From the front desk clerks to the dental team in the back, we had an excellent experience. My two older boys get a little bit of dental anxiety from past experiences, but the dental techs and Dr. Young made them very comfortable. They explained everything they were doing beforehand with the cleaning and then when Dr. Young came in he spoke to them and myself about what was going on. I was very pleased with his professionalism and not really forcing any treatment plans, but explaining each and every route and outcome
