Services
Bariatric Surgery
Bariatric surgery offers transformative solutions for severe obesity through procedures that modify digestive system function. Our team specializes in laparoscopic and robotic-assisted techniques that promote sustained weight loss while minimizing recovery time. Patients benefit from comprehensive preoperative evaluations, advanced surgical interventions, and lifelong postoperative support programs that include nutritional counseling and behavioral health resources.
Colorectal Surgery
Our colorectal specialists treat complex conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus using minimally invasive approaches. We manage disorders like diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer through tailored surgical interventions. Fellowship-trained surgeons employ advanced techniques to preserve function while addressing both benign and malignant conditions with precision and expertise.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally invasive techniques utilize small incisions and specialized instruments to reduce surgical trauma. Our surgeons perform procedures for hernia repair, gallbladder removal, and gastrointestinal disorders using laparoscopic and robotic platforms. These approaches typically result in less pain, shorter hospital stays, and faster return to normal activities compared to traditional open surgery.
Surgical Oncology
Surgical oncology focuses on removing cancerous growths through precise, targeted interventions. Our specialists collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for various cancers. We employ advanced techniques to maximize tumor removal while preserving healthy tissue, often combining surgery with chemotherapy or radiation therapy for optimal outcomes.
Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery
Endocrine surgery addresses disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid glands through targeted removal of abnormal tissue. Our surgeons treat conditions like hyperthyroidism, goiters, and endocrine tumors with meticulous attention to preserving critical structures. Patients receive thorough preoperative assessments and postoperative monitoring to ensure hormonal balance and functional preservation.

A great group of surgeons. A busy place, but you are seen pretty quickly after your appointment.
Dr. Kastis is a great guy. But his 3 inch needle for lap band fill is a bit scary.
