Three years ago I was looking for an apartment, to return to Tucson after retiring from a career and being away for nine years. Being very familiar with Tucson, the northwest part of town has always been a desirable place to live, just outside of the city grid with spectacular mountain views, but still accessible to the U of A and downtown, and being on the Sun Tran bus line a being big plus.
The Pima Canyon Apartment amenities, large rooms with 10 foot ceilings and huge balcony sold me on these apartments. The big gym and modern clubhouse, with periodic community events with food trucks or a

The management team at Pima Canyon has done a fantastic job at assuring residents are safe during COVID-19. Snowflakes aside, who are ranting about "tyranny" because the pool/gym are not yet open, this is a five-star property. Tyranny? Move to North Korea if you want to see what tyranny REALLY is. Not having a pool to romp in over the long weekend? An inconvenience, nothing more.
These apartments are spacious, well-appointed, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. I suggest those who chafe at the rules put in place for the safety of the community, should rent a single-family dwelling. Perhaps

The staff here is amazing. We moved 2200 miles to Tucson and Kayleigh guided us with a virtual tour, answered all our questions, was super helpful, and when there were issues with the previous tenant, the staff went above and beyond to make it right. The appliances are all upgrade, the wood-style tile is awesome. I think the setup makes a lot of sense.
The maintenance man came to fix something on our air conditioner and he was super quick to fix it and even explained a ton of good practices, since we’re new to the area.
The photos don’t really do the pool/spa justice and the gym has most

I would give 10 stars if I could. Lived here last year (we are here every year for about 7months) and can honestly say we wish we would have waited for a 2 bedroom to become available this season. Best apartment complex in Tucson, hands down. We are currently at another 'luxury' property in the North Tucson area, and we are deeply regretting it. Pima canyon is one of the only complexes with stainless steel appliances, amazing staff, great neighbors, and just overall very friendly. If we are back in Tucson next year, I really hope to be back at Pima.

I like the apartments and the quality inside, the area is great and it's nice to be away from the downtown area, but some of the issues mentioned in other reviews are accurate which is letting things down. I'm still undecided if I'll renew my lease and currently looking at other communities to compare.
Pros:
- Genuinely nice apartments that I feel comfortable living in. The high ceilings, kitchen/bathrooms and appliances make it feel luxury inside
- The pool/hot tub area is really nice during the summer
- The area is nice and in a good location overall. It's mostly quiet during the night and

Pima Canyon Apartments are great place to live in Arizona. However, you need a car to drive everywhere. Not much walking around. If they would have a park near by it would be much better.
The pool is great and heated during winter time which is not the case in different places. It is big and beautiful. The apartment complex is brand new. It was build in 2018. I personally don’t like the color of the exterior buildings, but the apartments inside are really big and beautiful.
The gym is quite nice and now they have a new company who runs the building. The stuff is great. Hopefully they can do

In my eight years in the US, I lived in 15 different apartment complexes around the country. I never felt so welcomed as I did at Pima Canyon. The leasing manager walked me step by step through everything I needed to do. She listened to my needs and requests and was extremely sweet. I couldn’t be more happy and excited about my new community, thanks to wonderful management.

The apartments are actually very nice along with the amenities and the view.
However, the recent uptick in crime within the complex (car break-ins and motorcycle jacking) has been rampant. I can't even say that the staff at Pima Canyon have done the bare minimum to help with the situation because they have done absolutely nothing. The office staff seems to care more about decorating balconies for Halloween than they do about the residents personal property being stolen.
One would think a "luxury" complex would have a security camera system in place...nope. Better yet, when a crime is reported

I've been living here for a while now. My experience has not been that great but it is decent.
Pros:
- Great location
- The leasing office and maintenance are great, especially Olivia and Enrique.
- Nice vinyl wood flooring in the unit.
- Stainless steel appliances.
Cons:
- High ceilings are great, but the ceilings in the unit are very high. Thus, it is really difficult to reduce the echo.
- You are shown a different unit when applying, I was shocked when I saw that my unit looked much different than the sample.
- There are minor issues that are really disturbing. For instance, there is

Of course no place is entirely perfect, but Pima Canyon has been a great place to live and I've had no real complaints. I lived there from Sep 2018 - June 2020.
Pros - It's a quiet complex and generally people keep to themselves but are friendly. It's still very new (the oldest apartment quadrant first built wasn't more than 3 years ago, and the SW quadrant is only a year old) and I was the first person to live in my unit. Originally it was owned/managed by MEB, but it was sold to Northland in 2019. Naturally rents were going to be raised from the initial move-in promo offers

We moved into Pima Canyon in Aug 2018. We've truly enjoyed our time here, but we're about to put in our 60-day notice in favor of finding a more walkable location.
Pros:
- The apartments are brand new and beautiful.
- The pool is lovely and the gym is surprisingly well equipped.
- The staff are friendly and responsive.
Cons:
- The thickness of the walls and ceilings leave something to be desired. If you're on the first floor, you will hear every footstep your upstairs neighbors take, especially if they have young kids that run around.
- The location isn't great. Neither Orange Grove nor

Disappointed that the dog park is in such poor shape. I've lived here for over a year, and the dog park has never looked nice. From the beginning it had problems like wires sticking out of the ground, huge holes in the grass, the grass dying, it has a single dead tree in the corner as well. There is contestant flooding, terrible drainage, no seating and now it looks like it has cockroaches, which are probably coming out of the drains that are always filled with murky mosquito filled water.
I have told management about the dog park countless times, but nothing seems to convince them that
