At St. Pete Pilates, we have a classical, integrative, systematic approach to movement. We utilize the various apparatus designed by Joseph Pilates to aid the client in developing a uniform, balanced body; to correct posture; and to rid the body of compensatory weaknesses that contribute to chronic pain and injuries.
All of our instructors have completed the Power Pilates Comprehensive Classical training, which includes 600 + hours of training, observing, self-practice and practice teaching. We continue to take continuing education workshops to keep our certifications up to date.

Report
Joseph Pilates did not trademark his work. When he died the courts determined that Pilates was a generic term. Classical Pilates stays true to what Joseph Pilates taught sticking to what has been passed on through his photos, videos and students. Classical Pilates holds the integrity of the system and order that he used.
