Our Story

After years of studying music in the United States, Mexico and Europe, our founder Saideh Eftekhari determined that what that set her best teachers apart was their kind and patient approach to sharing knowledge and their openness to following students' musical interests. It was in this spirit that Saideh established Nurture Music School as a place for kind-hearted and creative teaching to plant deep musical roots in the lives of young learners.
Private Lessons

Nurture Music School offers private lessons on piano and violin to children ages 4 and up. Private lessons take place online or in your home on a weekly basis. You can choose from 30 minutes (recommended for ages 4-5), 45 minutes (6 and older), or 60 minute lessons. We offer a flexible rescheduling policy.
Our Teachers

Saideh Eftekhari is a multi-instrumentalist (violin, setar, voice), performing and teaching artist based in San Francisco. Her work is inspired by the years she spent studying and living in Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. She is trained in classical violin as well as the Persian setar and holds a certification in Sound Healing from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
