Mitchell Aircraft Products focuses on quality instruments at reasonable prices. Mitchell is owned and managed by a Master Pilot who holds single and multi-engine instrument commercial ratings and has been involved in aviation industries and activities for more than 50 years.

Mitchell Aircraft Products, Inc., originated at Mitchell Field in MKE and the current company, Mitchell Aircrafts Products has been under the same ownership and management for 30 years.All Mitchell products are manufactured in McHenry, Illinois under an FAA-approved quality system. Mitchell tachometers are built using custom mechanisms developed specifically for aircraft applications.

If you need assistance with other technical data requirements, please contact us. Gauge mounting frames have a 1/2 inch flange around the periphery of the gauges for mounting the frame to the panel.

The GlaStar aircraft was initially offered as a kit. As with many kit built aircraft this particular one chose Mitchell instruments for engine monitoring. It was reported that this particular aircraft flew for a number of years including two successful trips between Oshkosh and Germany. The Twinstar gyroplane is well known among the gyroplane community.

Mitchell has been in continuous service top the general aviation community for over 30 years. Our combined staff experience exceeds 60 years in aviation related issues. We have a full-time FAA designee inspector on staff for issuance of 8130-3 certificates for our approved instruments.
