You need to pass the theory and hazard perception test before we can book your practical driving test. If you wish to pay by credit card, your chosen instructor will send you an invoice via PayPal who make a small charge for this service. As a learner, you must hold a Provisional Licence to drive on a public highway.

Driver Licencing and The Law

Normally the earliest date your provisional licence becomes valid is your 17th birthday, you can apply for the licence up to three months before your 17th birthday. If you apply for your provisional licence before you are 17 you will have to wait until your 17th birthday to take your theory test. If you are 16 or over, ride a moped or drive an agricultural vehicle, and hold a valid provisional licence you can take your theory test.

These are basic vehicle checks that a driver should carry out to ensure the vehicle is safe for use. Some checks may involve you opening the bonnet to specify where and how to check the fluid levels. If fitted, you can answer questions on tyre pressures and fluid levels by referring to the vehicle information system many modern vehicles are equipped with.
