Suffolk Auto Driving School has been serving Long Island since 1948. We provide private lessons and we also teach Drivers Education at various High Schools and Colleges throughout Long Island. All driving lessons are strictly private and taught by NY State certified licensed driving teachers in our dual controlled late model A/C cars.

Road test training includes home pickup, 30 minute warm-up, use of vehicle for road test and return drop-off to your home or workplace. Drivers 16-17 yrs old must have a 50-Hour Certificate (MV262) signed by a parent or legal guardian. 5-Hour Pre-License Course Certification (MV278) or have completed a High School drivers ed course (MV285).

At Suffolk Auto Driving School we have 3 major concerns when choosing vehicles. Safety, Reliability and Ease of Driving for a new driver, that's why we use new and late model Honda Accords. All of our vehicles are dual controlled and equipped with power steering, power brakes, air bags and anti-lock brakes.

A. Under the graduated licensing law, all permit holders under the age of 18 must hold their permits for 6 months before they are permitted to set a road test appointment. A. You must have your "Photo Learners Permit", a Prelicensing Certificate (MV278) or a Drivers Education certificate (MV285). If they are under the age of 18, they must also have a "50" hours of supervised driving form.
