Children develop social skills, motor coordination, and creativity in a warm, structured environment. Teachers guide learning through imitation and rhythmic routines, laying foundations for future academic success.
Lower School
Grades 1-4 focus on foundational academics through arts-integrated lessons. Students explore history, science, and math via hands-on projects, music, and movement. Curriculum emphasizes storytelling, character development, and environmental awareness in a developmentally appropriate sequence.
Middle School
Grades 5-8 combine academic rigor with creative expression. Core subjects are taught through experiential methods, including lab work, historical reenactments, and nature studies. Students develop critical thinking while maintaining curiosity and ethical awareness.
High School
Grades 9-12 offer college-preparatory courses blending classical education with modern challenges. Students engage in Socratic discussions, scientific inquiry, and artistic projects. Emphasis on independent research, leadership, and global citizenship prepares graduates for higher education and civic responsibility.

Waldorf education has been amazing for our 2 girls (who are now 12 and 15). They started as babies and are now in Junior High and High School. We were so lucky to have found Emerson which is one of the few Waldorf schools in the country which goes through high school. They attended a Montessori school for one year when we were living in an area that had no Waldorf school nearby. It was a disaster! The following year we moved to a location which had an accredited Waldorf school and the girls quickly got back into the swing of it. Learning languages (currently German and Spanish) in early
