Learning Plus offers Tutoring Programs that have received Bay Area Parent Magazine's Family Favorite and Editors choice awards for seven years, including 2007-2010 and 2012-2015. We have tests that accurately measure your child's knowledge in key areas so we can create a program tailored to their individual needs.
English as a Second Language

Beginning readers can learn to read and write English from the onset like native English speakers. We have a proven phonics program that teaches students the sounds of letters and how to put them together to form words. Also, the students are able to read skill-appropriate books on their own. Along with this, we teach the structure of the English language and vocabulary.
Math Tutoring

We can help with everything from basic math concepts, facts, word problems and arithmetic, on up to algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and integrated math. The math curriculum has become very advanced in both public and private schools. Students are expected to begin advanced math concepts at earlier and earlier grades.
