At Pilates Tonic, we help you discover the core connections and alignment in your body.
What is Pilates
Report
Pilates is a method of exercise created over 80 years ago by Joseph H. & Clara Pilates. Joe Pilates was born in Germany in 1880 and, as a young man, began a life-long study of health and physical fitness. Over many years of experimentation and implementation, Joe and Clara developed more than 600 exercises that they called the Art of Contrology, which today we call Pilates.
What is Restorative Movement
Report
Restorative Movement sessions draw upon and include modalities such as Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), the Smartspine System, Restorative Exercise, Core Intelligence, and Pilates. Using these different tools, I'll work with you to find the source of the problem and develop a specific movement plan that will eliminate or alleviate the problem and its pains.

A: I really enjoy learning a client's goals, and then, breaking those goals down into easy steps they can take to quickly reach them. Seeing the satisfaction in their faces and the differences in their bodies once they have reached their goals is my favorite part of my work. A: My specialty is definitely having an athletic background which I use to incorporate advanced fitness concepts and adjustments into private sessions.
Louie Marin-Howard — Instructor
Report
A: I believe that private sessions offer both the client and instructor the opportunity to really connect and communicate with each other. This relationship encourages growth and mindfulness, and I love that when working with clients one-on-one. Private sessions allow me to work with a person to develop a program specifically designed for them.
