CIG Financial Services was founded in 1984 to provide basic wealth management services to the local community including financial planning and insurance. Our original location was a very humble, two-room office in south Archbold with one advisor and one staff member. Building on the foundation established in the 1980's, CIG's vision was to become the premier financial services firm in the tri-state region.

Mike is a 1991 graduate of Wright State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, specializing in Financial Services. Soon after graduation, he returned to Archbold and took a leadership role in his family's business, CIG Financial Services. In 2005, Mike took full ownership of the firm as his father, Ray, retired.
