Advanced Math Tutors exists to bring quality mathematics education to all students. Our focus is to make mathematics meaningful to students and to help them construct their own understanding of the underlying concepts inherent in mathematics throughout high school and college. We will do this by providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions led by a content master trained in the pedagogy to deliver that content.
We will also provide professional math education materials for free to anyone with internet access. These materials will include lessons, tutorials, and worked example problems. Our mission is to make upper level mathematics accessible to all people and to promote students' natural curiosity in mathematics and problem solving.

My name is Glen Smith and I started Advanced Math Tutors in September of 2010 with the belief that all students deserve a quality math education. I have been teaching for over 10 years and I have been tutoring students for over 18 years. Currently we are a very small company and I do much (but not all) of the tutoring.

We guarantee that we are a better math tutoring service than any other company out there. Since everyone at AMT specializes in mathematics, from the tutors to the founder, we remain a cohesive group of individuals that is passionate about the same thing - teaching math.

The choice is yours. Whether we are working with your child in your home or online, we offer the same expertise in all subjects. We will always be there to help your child with any questions and prepare them for success in the classroom. And remember, the two options are not mutually exclusive. If you usually prefer In-home tutoring but there comes a week when Online Tutoring is a better choice, that's not a problem.

We know you're busy. That's why we make tutoring through AMT as easy and convenient as possible. We work with you to set up a schedule that does not conflict with work, extra-curricular activities, or school. Your personal tutor will come prepared and ready to help your child complete homework, study for a test, demystify concepts, or answer any questions they may have on the material.
