Oom Yung Doe Northwest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Traditional Martial Arts school with locations in Kirkland and Redmond. Our mission is to bring health and wellness to our community through Traditional Martial Arts training. Traditional Martial Arts (more traditionally called Moo Doe) helps practitioners attain longevity and maintain a superb quality of life by achieving harmony of the mind, body, and spirit.

Traditional Martial Arts practice in one of the fastest ways to achieve complete balance of the body. Movements are taught in a holistic and balanced way that is transformational for any age or condition. Students start wherever they are and progress at their own pace. With 8 martial arts styles taught as 1, there is movement that will help all students to reach their highest potential.

Practitioners dedicate themselves to winning over their own personal condition, whatever it may be, in order to achieve their best possible self physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Oom Yung Doe is true Traditional Martial Art, offering training as it has been taught in Asia for centuries. The goal is not just to improve your condition or self-defense, but to truly "win over yourself" and reach your fullest potential mentally, physically, and spiritually. Adult Martial Arts students (ages 17 and up) learn correct and balanced movements from all eight styles.

The threat of violence, especially against women, is a terrible problem that impacts people from all countries and walks of life. Women in particular tend to be the targets of violence because of our smaller size. Global estimates published by the World Health Organization (WHO) indicate that nearly 35% or 1 in 3 women world-wide have experienced some form of sexual violence.
Online Training

In order to develop yourself in Oom Yung Doe to a point where your mind and body are comfortably healthy and strong, you do not need a lifetime of practice. Use your full concentration towards training for three hours a week and you will improve quickly. A private consultation with a 3rd Degree Black Belt Certified Instructor or higher to review your goals and personal direction with a customized practice schedule and follow-up.
