Located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Oak Hill, Florida, a five-minute idle from the world-famous flats of Mosquito Lagoon, our three unit fish camp with private docks and on-site launch ramp is the ideal base of operations for skiff anglers, kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, birdwatchers and other wildlife enthusiasts.

Bring your own boat, fish with one of the lagoon's accomplished guides, or use one of our complimentary Native Watercraft kayaks to explore the area. With our unique lagoon redfish population, the fish are here all year, and we'll make sure you find them. Just an hour from Orlando, two hours from Jacksonville, and two-and-a-half from Tampa/St.

Lathrom's Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp offers four waterfront units - a 2-bed/1-bath with four full-size beds, an efficiency/studio with two full-size beds, an efficiency with one queen bed, a 2-bed/2-bath manufactured home next door to the main fish camp building and 1 42' 5th wheel located in the RV Park.

Custom charters with with one of the areas accomplished guides are available for camp guests and others. We offer both fly and light-tackle fishing for redfish, speckled trout, and a variety of other seasonal species. With decades of experience, we adapt to your fishing abilities, interests, and style.

Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp lies at the northern end of Mosquito Lagoon, an inshore angler's paradise of grassy flats, deeper basins, scattered islands, mangrove shorelines and sandbars stretching about 20 miles to our south. To our north, the relatively open water of the lagoon proper gives way to a maze of backcountry that extends north 10 miles to the town of New Smyrna Beach and the Ponce de Leon Inlet.

The immediate area around Mosquito Lagoon Fish Camp may be short on nightlife, but natural and human history, great local seafood, world-class sunrises and sunset, and incredible wildlife viewing are plentiful. Just 20 minutes north of the camp, New Smyrna Beach is a charming, historic surf town with great dining, shopping, and beaches.
