As you may know, the Duval County School Board approved a mask mandate with a medical opt-out on Monday evening during an emergency meeting. The new emergency mandate will be in effect for a period of 90 days beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7. This mandate was approved after significant input from medical professionals and the community.
