The Metropolitan Conservatory builds musicians who are bold, expressive, creative, and capable of leading in orchestras, choirs, and chamber ensembles. The Metropolitan Conservatory provides a wide range of music education opportunities. In addition to private lessons, The Metropolitan Conservatory offers free studio classes, recital opportunities, and unique orchestras and performance ensembles for children and adults.

Our offerings range from the Sunday Youth & Adult Orchestra, that has been invited to perform at the Kauffman Center six years in a row. Also, offered is a student Baroque Orchestra and Viola da Gamba Consort - the only student groups of their kind in the KC Metro.
