Offshore Fishing
Our offshore fishing charters target deep-water species like red snapper, gag grouper, and hogfish in the Gulf of Mexico. Equipped with 31T Cape Horn vessels and Simrad electronics, we ensure efficient navigation to productive fishing grounds. Ideal for anglers seeking trophy catches in depths exceeding 40 feet.
Scalloping Charters
Seasonal scalloping trips operate July-September with expert-guided snorkeling adventures. We provide Cressi gear, collection bags, and freshwater wash systems. Perfect for families seeking shallow-water activities in 3-7 feet of crystal-clear waters while harvesting bay scallops.
Inshore Fishing
Target redfish, spotted seatrout, and sheepshead in Crystal River's estuaries using light tackle techniques. Our 2202 Century bay boats access shallow 13-inch waters, ideal for sight-fishing in grass flats and mangrove-lined shorelines.
Light Tackle Fishing
Specialized light tackle charters focus on mangrove snapper, spanish mackerel, and redfish in nearshore reefs. Utilizing 8'6" beam vessels for stability, this service caters to anglers preferring finesse techniques in 8-40 foot depths.
Fishing Reports
Comprehensive fishing reports cover seasonal patterns, species behavior, and gear recommendations. Updated monthly with Captain Nick's insights on optimal techniques for current conditions in Crystal River and surrounding waters.

I booked with Hight Octane as a surprise for my husband (who adores fishing) on our honeymoon in November. He was very surprised and had a blast. We went on the full day trip leaving out at 7:30 and arriving back about 1:30. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. He informed us of what we were fishing for and what we were using to catch them. The day we went the fish weren't biting quite as well but that is absolutely NO blame to the company or our guide since nature and wildlife does it's own thing. We did catch quite a few fish but only a few that met requirements. When we arrived back at the dock

We did a shallow water grouper trip with Captain Nick this week. The water conditions were challenging. A cold front had come through stirring up the bottom and dropping the water temperature. I didnt need to be concerned. Captain Nick had a plan and we had our grouper limit by 11 and they were quality fish. He is a really talented guide that made it easy to hook fish after fish after fish. Im looking forward to another trip with him soon.

Another successful trip today with High Octane Fishing Charters. This was our fourth trip all together over the last couple of years and the third with Captain Nick. We had a great time trying to stand in the heavy chop laughing the whole way. Highly recommend either Captain. It was nice they both recognized us from previous trips since they book so many charters. Always very cordial and they both work hard to put you on the fish. Captain Jayce is great too, but our grouper was 3lbs and two inches longer then yalls today! Talk to you soon Captain Nick

Great Day Fishing with Jayce from High Octane Fishing Charters
My wife and I had a wonderful time fishing with HOFC, fished and caught snapper, reds, grouper and even a bonus snook, plus a million lady fish which were a blast.
Jacye our Captain was great, I would, and have already recommended him, and this outfit to everyone. He put us on the fish, showed us his technic and the bite was on!
Had a Blast!!!
Caught the biggest grouper of my life, 32" @ 15lbs.
