Rye Ballet Conservatory was founded in 1978 by Lynne Stetson, who danced with the New York City Ballet under the direction of George Balanchine. We have taught generations of aspiring dancers to develop a profound love for the art of ballet. Our school is led by a group of passionate teachers whose mission is to bring exceptional classical ballet training in a nurturing environment to Westchester County and Greenwich.
Our curriculum is rooted in the Balanchine technique and has been passed down and honed by each Director of our school. It is born of tradition and refined by experience. Our teachers have deep relationships with the history of American ballet and first-hand experience leading young dancers from the first plie to the professional stage.

Please consider donating to the fund that supports our boys program, particularly if you are financially capable and have a boy who enjoyed the program. We rely on donations to be able to continue to offer tuition-free boys ballet education. We are not a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is not tax deductible but is immensely helpful and appreciated.

We do not hold classes during the month of July because we encourage our advanced dancers to audition for summer intensive programs around the country. For a complete list of preferred schools, please stop by the office. We accept credit card payments through our secure online system. We partner with The Yorkville Nutcracker choreographed by Francis Patrelle.
