Holland Clinic is an Albuquerque, New Mexico based medical practice that specializes exclusively in Bariatrics (medical weight control). As medical director and staff physician, I (Mark Holland MD) have practiced bariatric medicine in Albuquerque since 1991 and has treated thousands of patients during that time.

Renewing Patients: former patients to Holland Clinic whose last visit was more than 12 months ago. 90 minute group talk with Dr. Holland and about 5-15 other new patients covering nutrition, exercise, weight loss medications and more. Dr. Holland will only prescribe weight loss medications to patients for whom there are medical reasons to lose weight.

The charge for prescription weight control medications is based on the type, dosage and amount of medication ordered for you by doctor Holland. Generally the charge for medications can be as low as $14 per-28 days or as high as $70 per-28 days.

Getting started is easy. There is only one catch: in order for Dr. Holland to treat you with prescription weight loss medications, you have to be overweight enough that your health is at risk. 2: Your BMI lies between 25 and 30 AND you have a weight related health condition like type 2 diabetes, hypertension metabolic syndrome or one of several other diagnoses.
Your First Visit

Before we see you in the office, Dr. Holland will have reviewed your submitted medical and weight history. When you arrive at our office you will join with about five to ten other new patients in our group conference room. Dr. Holland and his staff will begin the group session with introductions followed by a roundtable discussion about diet, exercise and medical weight loss techniques.
