Our Leg-A-Sea Charters began 25 years ago as a dream of mine. I've always loved fishing, especially on the Great Lakes. It became a passion of mine since the first day I experienced fishing with my dad and grandfather as a child. I fished every chance I had. As I grew up, I got married and had children of my own.
Get to Know Our Boat: Sea Legs II
Report
Sea Legs II is a coast guard and DNR inspected 39' Sea Ray Express 390 with a 14' beam. She contains all the recommended safety equipment, including coast guard approved life jackets with water sensor lights and whistles for both adults and children, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and a water light/strobe.
Half Day PM Charter

Our Half Day PM Charter is $500.00 for up to six people for 5 hours (dock to dock). You will be fishing for Kings, Coho, Steelhead, and Lake Trout. Arrival time is 1:30 PM with a departure from dock at 2:00 PM and returning to dock at 7:00PM. Motion sickness aids such as Dramamine, sea bands, Motion Ease essential oil (found at Walmart).
Michigan Fishing License
Report
The state of Michigan requires anyone 17 and older to purchase a fishing license. This license can be purchased through the Michigan DNR website or at any fishing/bait/tackle shop or at Walmart. You will need to purchase this and bring your license with you the day of your trip. You can purchase an annual license or a One Day All Species license.
Basic Training – One Day

This trip is for anyone interested in learning the basics of fishing on Lake Michigan. You will spend 2 hours at dock being given instructions and training. Then you will head out onto Lake Michigan for further training, demonstration, and application by the captain. On this trip, the captain operates, demonstrates, and applies what he is teaching.
