About Dr. Chauhan

Dr. Chauhan is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in private practice since 2001. Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Chauhan earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Brandeis University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in School and Counseling Psychology from Tufts University. She received her Doctor of Psychology Psy.
Appointments and Forms

Our office will verify your insurance benefits and will contact you to schedule an appointment. Once the session has been scheduled, to get the most of your sessions, please arrive on time. Sessions are 45-50 minutes, so if you arrive late, you will have less time in which to work. For private pay clients, Dr. Chauhan is also offering sessions by telephone, Facetime, or Skype.

As a convenience to you, Dr. Chauhan is a credentialed provider with many major insurance companies. Because benefit coverage varies greatly, we always advise you to check your benefits booklet, call your insurance carrier, or talk to your employer. Mental health benefits are not always as clear cut as major medical benefits and may be covered or administered through a different plan than your major medical care policy.

Days and hours of availability for sessions are Monday through Thursdays 7:00 am to 6:00 p.m. These appointment times may vary according to Dr. Chauhan's client load. Between therapy appointments, clients may leave a general message at 972 840-9900. The use of the Internet for communications with Dr. Chauhan does not establish a therapist/patient relationship and messages containing confidential or time-sensitive information should not be sent.
