Forestedge Winery in Laporte, MN
Forestedge Winery, established in 2016, is a family-owned and operated business nestled in the Paul Bunyan State Forest of Laporte, Minnesota. Our passion for crafting premium fruit wines is rooted in the local terroir, utilizing rhubarb grown on-site at Rhubarb View Farm and other fruits sourced from regional growers. We produce 5,000 - 6,000 gallons of wine annually, using small-batch techniques and aging our wines in Italian stainless steel tanks for over a year to ensure depth and complexity. Our portfolio includes 25 award-winning wines, such as our Rhubarb Wine and Split Rock Red, which have earned gold, silver, and bronze medals at national competitions.

Visitors can enjoy tastings, wine flights, and bottle sales in our serene woodland setting or order directly through our website for delivery within Minnesota. We also host events and partner with local retailers to share our wines with a broader audience. Our commitment to quality, sustainability, and community has made us a trusted name in Minnesota's wine industry.

Good wine. However, the workers here are extremely slow and stupid acting. They didnt seem to understand the concept of pushing two tables together, instead tried to turn down a group of 5. They should try a bit harder to please their customers.

Great variety of wine flights to try. Very friendly staff and it was easy for our group to split the bill. Raspberry wine tasted like fresh berries plucked from a bush.

Quaint winery with nice owners and staff. Its fruit wine and that is what we expected; however, when we ordered meat and cheese they brought out a literal bag of cheese and bag of meat I would suggest they try to dress that up a bit with providing a platter.

Great little winery, no grapes! All the wines are fruit based, but none from grapes. Pro tip: if you want something that tastes like a more transitional wine, the Black Currant is the best option. The rest taste like the fruit they list, and all are a unique spin on wines. Def worth the visit!

Visited on 10-18-2019 a very fall like day. Windy and about 55 degrees. No indoor seating so we found a neat little table on the patio. We finished one bottle that was really good. We tasted first inside. Seven little wines. Some I liked some not so much. This is a very unique place. Can you believe none of their wines are made from grapes. Try this place we were pleasantly surprised. I added some pictures. If you like zinnias, can you imagine what those beauties would have looked like before the frost got them. Ive never seen zinnias that tall. Someone has very green thumb.

Great place to visit. There is a wide range of wines and it was a real pleasure going through the tastings. Only 5 dollars for tasting of 7 wines. We found a few we really loved!!! The store is really neat and the people there were great. A must-stop if you are in the area.
